Load Manager TMS offers helpful email tools that let you send Rate Cons, Invoices, and other documents directly from the platform with just a few clicks. To use these features, you need to complete a one-time email setup in your user profile. This involves entering your email address and your email provider’s SMTP (Simple Mail Transfer Protocol) settings. SMTP is the standard method for sending emails online.
Follow these steps to configure your email:
Log in to Load Manager and go to the Users section
Click on your username to open your user profile
In your user profile, find the email setup fields:
Email: Your email address.
SMTP Server address: The server your email provider uses to send emails.
SMTP username: Usually your email address.-
SMTP password: Your email account password (or an app-specific password if required)
SMTP port: The port number your email provider’s SMTP server uses (typically 465 or 587)
Use TLS or Use SSL: The security protocol your email provider requires (choose one)
Fill in these fields with the correct details for your email provider. If you’re unsure, check the Common SMTP Settings section below or contact your email provider’s support
Once you’ve entered the information, check the Verify SMTP settings box and click "Save". Load Manager TMS will test your settings and let you know if they’re valid. If they are, you’re ready to send emails!
Here are SMTP settings for popular email providers:
Paste password into the "SMTP password" field in your User.
Xfinity (@comcast.net)
SMTP Server: smtp.comcast.net
Port: 587
Security: TLS
Tips:
If your provider isn’t listed, search online for “[your email provider] SMTP settings” or contact their support team.
If your email provider uses 2FA (Two-Factor Authentication), you’ll likely need an app-specific password instead of your regular password. Check your provider’s documentation for how to create one.
Troubleshooting Tips
If you run into problems:
Verify your SMTP server address, port, and security protocol (TLS or SSL) are correct.
Confirm your SMTP username and password are accurate.
Ensure any required additional steps (like allowing less secure apps or generating an app password) are complete.
Still stuck? Contact your email provider’s support for help with their SMTP settings.
With this setup complete, you can start emailing documents directly from Load Manager. Enjoy the convenience!
